So this year’s WorldGBC Global Solutions Forum — the flagship event of our biennial Leadership Summit — will put an emphasis on finance as a critical tool to accelerate a sustainable transition in the building and construction sector.
We’re bringing together sustainability experts and built environment leaders to connect global ambitions with local action; spelling out pathways for enhanced accountability and alignment between industry, policymakers, and the finance community to achieve our 2030 decarbonisation and resiliency goals.
The Global Solutions Forum takes place on 25 June and is open to professionals working across the sustainability and building sectors. It forms the public-facing event of the WorldGBC Leadership Summit 2024 (24–27 June), a 4-day conference specifically for our network of 80+ Green Building Councils and global partners to leverage the built environment as a key solution to the climate challenge.
Our 2024 Leadership Summit and Global Solutions Forum was attended by our Green Building Councils (GBCs) and sustainability leaders from around the world.
We have 2,000 days to rise to the 2030 climate challenge. Even with the zeitgeist on our side, we have a huge gap to bridge in our sector. There is so much work to be done – but our network has shown us that they’re already leading the way.
